Hey people. Quick question-
I took my chances and shifted my RD to ED2 at middlebury. So I need a lot aid
Will ED2ing increase my chances? O.o is it advisable to continue ED2 there? :/

It can’t hurt to remain ED 2 if you’re sure that Midd is your first choice. Will it help your chances? Possibly–if you have excellent stats. Get your RD applications in order in case.

Hey @rew2402 it will obviously help if Middleburry is your first choice but really i am against applying ED2 because you don’t really have opportunity of compare aid packages if you are accepted at multiple colleges. i maybe wrong but its my opinion. :D

Why doesn’t anyone mention Imperial? That’s one of the best unis in the world!Btw, does anyone know of any external scholarship for the UK that an international student can apply to?

@Reesha Hey! I think thats because Imperial isn’t selective at all for candidates with As. It is difficult to find scholarships in UK for undergraduate level.(apply to ivies as Maam Khadija says) ;)

Can anyone tell me what kind of aid did the student accepted in union got,if s/he got any? That would be of great help.

@batuli Hi, one student from my school got accepted at Union ED and got aid of 54000$ per annum  Hope that helps P.S She is Pakistani citizen so it is great

That was of great help. I would be happier to know her credentials.

@batuli I didn’t really know her stats but i know she was accepted to CW of NYUAD last year but then didn’t attended NYUAD. I know her grades are good because she also had a summer school at Oxbridge :D

Thank you very much for the information. One more thing:

I am referring to 1st post of this thread.

Does anyone know about the students accepted in Hartwick and Whitworth college with full aid? Their credential and all.

The thing is that these colleges stated me that even if we get their highest aid ,we will have to pay at least $15,000-$20,000. On the contrary, those mentioned students in first post have full ride scholarship. So, have these colleges recently changed their scholarship policy?Or, is it any thing different?

Please help me.

Hello everyone, I am writing on behalf of my brother. I have a question for you guys:
How did you spend your last summer?

Its darn expensive to send someone to those prestigious research programs in the U.S. Is there any equivalent internship programs here? Does LUMS offer anything of that sort? Or what do most people do with their time? My question is specifically to Ivy(/HYPMS) hopefuls.

@ThisWorks Hey! try LUMS NOP program, NUST robotics workshop and various other community services like SOS village
