<p>Interesting to note that this Duke acceptance is also Pakistan’s Cambridge 800th scholar (male). Also, regular decision notifications are still some time away for Duke; they’ll either be April the 1st or March 28th. This was simply his notification because he won the scholarship.</p>

<p>Yes, the Duke scholarship does indicate a huge probability for Ivy acceptances, because I’m told this scholarship is essentially for ‘Ivy-luring.’ </p>

<p>I don’t know anything much about his objective stats ECs etc, except for what I already wrote, which has apparently been corrected by someone. also agree with earlier post saying, quite rightly, that this scholarship acceptance means his ECs are well above-par. he’s very talented.</p>
