Does anyone know if the email comes at the exact time decisions are releaed or is it a little bit after?
Email came out a little bit after but the decision was in the portal within by minutes of hitting 6pm CST

Did anyone that got deferred EA1 get an updated decision today?
Thatās what Iām waiting to hear as well. We were deferred EA1, but no updates to our portal so far. Iām guessing unless they were accepted, there wonāt be.
Yes - received an email saying to check portal again. Accepted this time!

My daughter hasnāt gotten an email yet and is afraid to checkā¦
My daughter is IN! OOS, GPA: 3.92UW/4.16 (Auburn-calculated), 1350 SAT. Never had GPA show up in portal. Sheās thrilled! WAR EAGLE

My daughter was deferred EA2. 4.2W GPA OOS. But she applied TO, so she is actually really happy to at least have an opportunity to be considered again. They just asked her to send in her term 1 grades for review, so weāll see how it goes the next time around!

We are in same boat. Deferred EA1 (and EA2). OOS, test-optional, 4.53 weighted GPA. Told to send in midyear grades.
Same for us. Deferred EA2, OOS, 4.34 weighted GPA, all honors and 7 APās. Send mid year grades as well
My sonās GPA didnāt appear in his portal at all until after he received his acceptance.
For those who were deferred in EA1 and accepted in EA2 can you share what steps you took as far as supporting essay, updated transcript, new test scores etc? Thank you!
Congrats to all including deferred this round! I keep hearing that so many that get deferred early on end up getting accepted later.
I applied for early action 2 and had my stuff in before 10/15. I have no update in my portal and have had no email come in. I am kind of freaking out. Is anyone else experiencing this? All of my friendsā decisions came out yesterday but mine did not.
My daughter was deferred EA1 and then accepted last night in EA2 round. She had submitted several teacher recommendations, the normal optional essay, resume, etc before EA1. I donāt think any of that was reviewed until after EA1 deferral. As far as additional materials, the only thing she submitted was the āoptionalā supporting essay - which admissions office said was HIGHLY recommended if you are deferred.

My son was deferred EA1. Attended the deferred student zoom session and emailed his admissions advisor his first quarter report card and let her know he had received much higher SAT results that were being sent by College Board but hadāt been received by Auburn yet. He also submitted his āoptionalā essay last Saturday. His updated SATs were finally received by Auburn around then too. He didnāt expect to hear anything until EA3 at the soonest since none of the new info was in before 10/15, but was excited to get an email and admission yesterday!
