Auburn Early Action Class of 2030 Official Thread

So funny!

Hi! So great to hear you have one in Business at Auburn that is happy there! I have twins and one is applying for Business as well. BTW, I was under the impression that the War Eagle invite was sent to all but I’m pretty clueless since these are our oldest kids. We registered and plan to attend. FWIW, these are our stats:

OOS

1370/4.0

1300/3.98

My other twin applied to COLA and received an email on Friday that I believe was probably sent to all liberal arts applicants, asking about what she had done over the summer, etc. We absolutely loved Auburn when we visited!

Interesting! That’s new- at least since my son applied EA 1 in 2023. He was COLA and got no correspondence other than “we received your application” and then an invite to WED. It’s nice they ask more questions once they’ve applied - seems maybe they are trying to be a bit more holistic.

What is VIT? Thanks!

Did anyone’s student apply directly using Auburn website? Is there anyway to add AP scores? Did you just re-enter same activities from common app?

So my son applied thru the website and sent all scores including his AP’s! He just heard he was included in EA1 even though his scores didn’t arrive until the 17th!! Also, he said when he was filling out his activities page he accidentally hit submit instead of add another activity :face_with_peeking_eye: and his Advisor said to just make sure he uploaded his resume

Signed up for war eagle days Oct 13, but no invite for VIT -just applied the 15th, 1450 SAT 11 AP, 1 UConn DE and 9 honors with 4.0 W

My D26 didn’t think to send her AP scores :thinking::thinking: I’ll have her email her admissions counselor and ask if she should. She applied EA1 and def does not want to mess things up and get bumped to EA2 by sending AP scores and confusing things.

My daughter applied directly. She added her AP scores to her resume. Not planning on sending official AP scores until this year’s scores come in next summer.

Its stands for Very Important Tiger. Look at my post from 9 days ago where I went into more details about it:)

Thank you!

How did he get confirmation that he is in EA 1?

Daughter is OOS, ACT: 35, Unweighted GPA: 3.96. Applied first week of August. Should we hear on October 15?

Based on when EA was released the last three years, it is likely Friday October 10!

He said he emailed his advisor that showed in the portal

Crossing fingers we hear this Friday!

Yes! I am a bundle of nerves. I do not even think D26 knows it’s this Friday and I am not telling her or she will be a wreck all week.

I’m with you. Not saying a word either!:grimacing:

Same!!

Well, this isn’t a good sign. My son’s application management page used to have a specific lady assigned as his admissions advisor with her personal email address listed. Now, it is generic “admissions@auburn.edu”

That happened to my son 2 years ago with I think it was his UTK application. Turns out the advisor he had been assigned had moved and they had not assigned him a new one yet. Ended up not being an issue at all. Hopefully it is something like this and your son can email any questions to that main email for a response.
