My son’s friend got in with a 27 ACT (not sure what his GPA was) in 2024 to the engineering program. My daughter’s friend said she was accepted with a 24 ACT last year, not sure of her GPA, but she was a NHS member. Both in-state, both got accepted in the later rounds. If that helps any:)

Did you not get the one earlier for this coming Monday? When did you apply? I am curious if this 11/7 one was added due to the 10/13 one being full, people not able to go as they had plans since it is a holiday weekend or what. Back in October 2023 my son was invited and could n’t go due to his football schedule. But there were kids who tried to register and it was full and they were upset. Not sure if this is the case now.

Nope first invite. Applied August 4.

Did your son also receive another invite for Nov 7th? I received one for Oct 13th, and another for Nov. Makes me worried. Hope this doesn’t foreshadow a deferral. For context I’m a OOS with 28 ACT and 4.0W/4
. Applied Liberal Art

Nope. We signed up for the one on Monday though. So, maybe that’s why we did not receive another one?

Anyone have any insight/know if anyone last year was accepted EA1 one with similar stats..?
OOS
4.0W/4.0
28 ACT
Liberal Arts(Communications)
Sibling currently at Auburn (not sure if that’s any weight though)

Please give me your brutal thoughts! I’m beyond stressed and truly don’t know what to be prepared for tomorrow..

Almost identical stats here, including a sibling at Auburn and freaking out that we got the October 13 and the November 7 invites.

Is there like a certain GPA or ACT they want you to be at for in state?

Are you thinking that he got the 11/7 WED invite because his application was pushed to the next group? If so, I doubt that is the reasoning because 11/7 is still before the next decisions are released.

My daughter also got both invites- I don’t think it means anything regarding admissions.

Yeah- I am honestly just looking for reasons to be stressed. I need to calm down.

I hear you! It’s a hard wait and it’s understandable to want to find any signs of reassurance.

It’s hard because D26 fell in love with Auburn when she was a freshman and we visited with her S24 brother. She was like “this is where I am going” and just loves it. He is there now (sophomore) and it is hard to think about what happens if she doesn’t get in. She has applied to a lot of great schools and I know she will be fine but she will be devastated if Auburn is not an option.

Hope you get great news tomorrow!!!

Is it true that Auburn puts heavy weight on ACT scores compared to GPA? People at my school have said that but no clue if that’s valid.

My daughter gets every invite they send out, just like her advisor told us in September she would. I am not worried about her getting both WED invites at all:)
