Auburn University Early Action for Fall 2025 Admission

No, Sept 27

That’s likely why they didn’t hear. I think (but someone can correct me if I am wrong and if it was two weeks after 9/15), that everything had to be in by 9/15 to be part of this EA round? I am sorry I can’t remember for sure. But, if everything was in by 10/15, then will hear in the next round.

My student applied by 8/31 with scores for the 9/15 deadline. However, we did send updated ACT scores from the 9/14 test on 9/29 that were reflected in her application. So I guess I’d say if you have a decent score then go ahead and submit and it seems like they’ll update the score if it’s sent in a couple of weeks before the decision date.

That’s interesting. I didn’t think you could update scores after EA deadline date.

We were told by the college advisor at Auburn they will accept it as long as the application review wasn’t started. We too sent them in after the application was submitted

Admitted students - has anyone had difficulty activating their acct? We put in his 6 digit user name (First-middle-Last initial plus 3 numbers) and it comes up as invalid. Trying to figure out what we are doing wrong. (followed link on next steps pdf and went to AU Computing Account Activation. If anyone has had success can you provide link or some advice? Thx

I would.

Having the same problem too. Anyone able to activate their account?

It is in the portal. Click on the activate auburn user account. The user name and banner id are in your decision letter. Then DUO link in the portal.

OOS son accepted for engineering! 31 ACT 3.73 gpa, toured campus, showed a lot of demonstrated interest as he was trying to decide between an engineering or an aviation path. War Eagle!:eagle:

And BTW if anyone hasn’t looked at the way Auburn presented the acceptance you should watch it. I have never seen one like it and I thought was cool. You can rewatch if you click on “celebrate again”.

Thanks - he did all of that and it still reads invalid user name. I know I am not alone with this issue. Hoping someone who had same problem figured it out.

Congrats! My OOS daughter was accepted too. She also applied pre-business, but her decision letter didn’t specify a major. Did your letter specifically state accepted as pre-business?

Ok! Strange. Her user name was not her middle initial and it was 4 numbers. Meaning first initial - random initial - last name initial

I really appreciate your response - it was first initial, middle initial, last initial and then 4 numbers. I have a current student and that’s consistent with user name. IDK
can you see a pattern with your daughter’s new user name?

Oops - I read too quickly - you write what is was. Thanks

Unfortunately no. It is just 4 random numbers. The only thing that is weird is that both her and her older sister when they got their user names from Auburn got their middle initials replaced with a z. They both have the exact same first and last initials. The older one ended up at UF so I do not have any further experience. When she clicked on the activate account link in the application portal and then entered the user name it immediately asked her to verify her name. Sorry I can’t be of more help.

Nothing in the letter, but his applicant file with address, GPA, SAT score etc has pre-business listed as the major.
