We haven’t. When I was at WED I talked to an admissions counselor and said we were waiting to hear about merit and I said “mid-November right?”. She hesitated and said we should hear by the end of November. I was hoping that meant this week because of Thanksgiving. Maybe someone who is attending WED Monday can ask?
DS was accepted EA1 and has heard nothing as well. Does anyone know if those notifications come in the mail or through the portal?
Son was accepted EA1. Did not see an email but went to the portal this AM and saw a merit letter dated today!
My daughter was accepted EA2 and she has a scholarship letter too! Didnt expect her to get one!
I cannot access it currently. Are the amounts the same as last year?
It is exactly what is posted online. My daughter is the lowest tier so I didn’t really think they’d give it to her after everything I read about last year.
Thanks! I didn’t realize it was on admission portal. I just found ours!
My daughter got her housing slot for after Thanksgiving. So make sure you check that as well.
Thank you for posting. We got ours too!
Are you in state or out of state?
Out of State
Did your daughter apply test optional? My son was accepted EA1 and his GPA seems to be above the scholarship threshold, but he did not submit scores. Thanks so much.
No, she submitted scores.
Scores are required for merit scholarship consideration.
My EA2 daughter got her merit letter too! Same amount as expected based on the GPA, ACT chart. On the portal. Did not get email. She did get email (to the Auburn address) with housing app time slot for Dec 10.
Yes…my son got his merit letter today too. Presidential Scholarship as stated on the website, exact amount expected. It was in the portal. No email.
Daughter
11,000$ merit per year
Daughter was accepted EA1 OOS and had the merit letter today (no idea when it was sent). Award aligns with Auburn’s GPA/test score chart.Very glad in light of prior years where I feel like I heard Auburn eliminated the lower tiers of merit??
We had a great day at War Eagle Day on 11/9 and it was much more of an experience than the tour. Lots of good information on housing, the Honors College, and the biz school. They could not have been more welcoming. Auburn continues to be at the top of our list.
My son received his Presidential merit letter today - happy to see that it aligned with the GPA/test score chart! I know that there were some issues last year.
My OOS son applied just after the ea2 deadline but received acceptance today along with presidential merit scholarship.
