Thank you so much! I am not good at standardized testing - and I accept that - the waiting is hard for all of us and I am just grateful I even get to apply at colleges - so many can’t due to costs or other hurdles. I just needed some time to find perspective. All this kindness is what did it - thank you

Deferral is not rejection (like a waitlist often is).
As long as you have suitable backups you are fine.
To me, a Ms State shares campus attributes. But the town is outside a secured campus. Arkansas has some shared attributes.
Both should be safe. it sounds like just deferrals so far. Ensure you have that assured and affordable admit just in case.

Reminder - I called Admissions last week and they said we would hear by tomorrow at the latest. Praying that as accurate info because the suspense is killing me! Good luck all!

Someone on a Reddit thread said they just called admissions and they said sometime in the next week. I hope it is still tonight because many have been told by Friday the wait is hard
I would find next week hard to believe and totally off schedule from anything they have done in the past.

I just called and they said “we don’t have the exact date but it’s going to be within the next few days” 
That’s going to really make me mad, I called last week and they said Friday 12/20 at the latest!

I don’t understand why in the world it wouldn’t be today?? And why in the world they are being so elusive about it?! This process is about to do me in. I would like to yell thru a megaphone “AT THE VERY LEAST JUST HAVE A DATE AND A PROCESS AND BE STRAIGHT , SO PEOPLE CAN MANAGE THEIR LIVES, HOLIDAYS, AND EXPECTATIONS”. All with a smile on my face, of course 
. And a twitch in my eye… and a drink in my hand…Lawd.
