My son is deferred, OOS. The wait continues, but he’s not upset about it. He’s already been accepted to other awesome universities. Good luck to everyone.
@Kacie99 I have been thinking about you, hope you got good news today! Regardless, your personality and kindness has shown through here and I know you will go on to do great things!
OOS- accepted School of Engineering 4.21 / 30 So happy.
Hoping she got great news, too!
Hello. My son was deferred on December 20. However, he had received an invitation to War Eagle Day in November. We did not respond in time to the invite for War Eagle Day and all the spaces were full, so we did not attend. We had been hoping that he was going to be accepted because he got the invitation to War Eagle Day, so he had his hopes up. Did anyone else get a War Eagle Day invite, but then get deferred?
One of my daughter’s close friends was invited, registered and was deferred in EA1.
Thank you so much for the information. Good to know he was not the only one was invited to War Eagle Day but was then deferred.
I got invited to War Eagle Day and just got rejected EA3. Ver disappointing.
Don’t worry - there’s someone out there that’s going to love having you !! And you’ll love them back and will have a great four years.
Auburn is a tough get but there are like schools that are easier admits and fine schools themselves.
Best of luck.
My daughter was accepted EA 1 and we attended the November 25th War Eagle Day event, which was very impressive! Talking to other families attending, many had been deferred. Applications are up considerably again this year, so a lot of students were deferred. We were told that as of November 22nd they had already received 35,000 EA applications. You still have a good chance of acceptance so good luck!
Thank you for letting us know. Your information was helpful. Sorry to hear about the rejection. I think the War Eagle Day invitation is misleading. Our best wishes that you find a great school.
Hi. Thanks for responding with your helpful information. Amazing increase in applications. Good to know. Thanks again!
