Auto-complete of member names when tagged with @ seems to be gone

@CCadmin_Sorin still not working here (I had to type all that).

I’ve tried -

Win 7 laptop:

Chrome (latest)
Firefox (latest)
Safari (can’t even open CC forums because it doesn’t recognize the SSL cert)

Then also can’t do it on

Android phone, latest Chrome browser

OK, it’s working on Chrome for me now.

@OHMomof2 working. for me- but I have had it not work int he past. Ditto for the autofull when doing an advanced search. More often than hot it doesn’t pull up the list when I start to type names in the “author” box. @CCadmin_Sorin ??

It’s just what I see when I use Chrome’s error console - it’s not visible on the page. (I am a developer)

@OHMomof2, you think the error in the code is what causes the issue with the auto-complete of member names not showing up? On what device/browser are you? I am on my laptop, on Chrome and am not able to replicate it.

I’m using Chrome on my laptop, Win 7. Currently it’s working OK on my phone and with Mozilla on this laptop.

The “auto completion not happening” for me does seem to happen frequently on my iPhone. Works well on my laptops.

Platform or device doesn’t seem to matter. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

@CCadmin_Sorin any chance you can answer…

I get @“Erin’s Dad” and @“aunt bea” by just typing the first word…the rest, including spaces…appears in the drop down for me to choose.

But @scholar bound doesn’t work…as you can see.

Is it because Scholar Bound doesn’t have enough posts? Or what?

My suggestion…I think spaces should be not allowed in screennames.

I got mine back @CCadmin_Sorin - it’s working again.

when I originally signed up for the site. i didn’t realize that you couldn’t add spaces and that I couldn’t edit my name.
