Has anyone heard finalist status?
did you receive an email about it? i emailed the committee on feb 15 and they said they were still making decisions on semi-finalists
Yes - email in Jan, interview 1/27. Supposed to hear about finalists by 3/15.
I am also a Bruce Fishkin finalist who is desperately awaiting results. I was hoping finalists would be notified early because of how early they notified us of semi-finalists. I hope they notify everyone, not just the winners, so at least we know. How did your interviews go?

Per the FAQ on their website:

Email notifications will be sent on or before February 15, 2024, to those that are selected to be semi-finalists.

Semifinalists will be required to attend a personal interview in their home city.

Email notifications will be sent on or before March 15, 2024, to those that are selected to be Finalists.

Finalists will be required to attend a personal interview at a location to be determined. All travel arrangements will be provided for Finalists and one parent or guardian.

Finalists that have been selected to receive a scholarship will be notified on or before April 30, 2024.
Yes I read that too. I was just hopeful as they were over a month ahead for semi-finalists!
Congratulations on being selected as a semi-finalist and having been interviewed! I hope that everyone hears back soon. I suspect it to be a time-consuming and difficult decision to determine who to bring to the next round, plus they probably need to identify a venue and make travel arrangements before they can move forward.
hmm, i see. i emailed the committee and they told me that they were still making semi-finalist decisions. hopefully its not over for me 
they’ll probably come around the day listed on the website. apparently not all semi-finalists have been notified according to the email they sent back to me. they told me to give it 1-2 weeks until all semi-finalists are notified. hope u become a finalist!!
Has anyone heard anything yet? I am so nervous. Desperately hoping I advance so I have a chance of affording my dream school! How has the college/scholarship process been going for you guys? Any luck so far?
I know the wait can be excruciating, but please know there is hope and you are not alone. My student is in the same exact situation. Hopefully everyone will hear back by next weekend.
Got an email today that we did not make the finalist round (we were a semi finalist).

Thank you for the heads up. I just checked and our semi-finalist also has received a polite decline by email today. She’s gained some valuable interviewing experience (which includes a life lesson about double-checking Zoom links!). It is wonderful that the Fishkin family makes this opportunity available.
