Our daughter has been on break for the past 10 days but…

For admitted students planning to attend Open House events in April, what events are you most excited about? Are there other families who have attended in the past? What events did you find most impactful for your student?

Came here to say this. The roll out was like this in 2024 too, when my daughter was admitted. A couple of waves, then nothing until the last week–when they sent out waitlists, denials…

Its brutal. My S25 was on his Spring Break Senior trip last year around this time. His best friend was admitted to SLO during that week and crickets for my son. He was waitlisted 2 weeks later.

I keep checking back as my daughter has several friends really hoping for this acceptance. I’m worried now it has been 13 days since my daughter heard back that this means they will be waitlisted or rejected?

We are in the same boat and are moving on to other schools.

my daughter crawled into my bed and sobbed last night over this. This is rough.

It really sucks. It’s been rejection after rejection lately with more to come this week. Thankfully, she has a good fallback but it is discouraging. I keep telling her that, by September, it will be a distant memory.

And everyone says they don’t announce on Wednesdays due to system updates so I guess we’ll be waiting at least another day…

Correct, lol.

Thanks for letting us know. One more day :folded_hands:

Oh wow. Was hoping people would hear back in earlier part of this week vs the later half.

Who knows - I could be wrong! My daughter told me to stop reading these message boards lol
