We are barely hanging on by a thread over here at this point with the what if’s of uncertainty. This decision has been a decision we have been waiting for since middle school and it decides everything. If she doesn’t get in it’s looking like Davis over Cal Baptist at the moment. Without a Cal Poly acceptance, it’ll be a hard decision since there are so many factors. With a Cal Poly acceptance it will be easy. Come on, admissions. We want to put this behind us.

My son is also debating Cal Baptist or Cal Poly! and also got into UC Davis. I think Cal Poly is his top choice and I really think he did everything right for a Cal Poly acceptance. (Also I went to Cal Poly). We’ll be very sad if Cal Poly is a no. The wait has been tough and we’d like to be out of our misery.

8 years ago my son was rejected by Cal Poly and he did everything right. Valedictorian, accepted to Davis with regents and UCSD, High UC GPA ended up with a presidential scholarship to the honors program as Fresno State. So we know odds are low for this kiddo and like him, it’s her first choice.

The decision still says awaiting status but in the other portal it says I got in. Crossing my fingers its accurate!

  1. Log in to “My Portal” (https://myportal.calpoly.edu)
  2. Click on the Student Center menu item
  3. In the Student Center, expand the Admissions menu item, then select Application Status

Note: I do not know if the status listed here is 100% accurate. But it does seem real. :slight_smile:
