Anyone hear back for business recently? or did they already do most of the acceptances for it last week
@Rachel17 yes- I have multiple classes in progress. But that is how most applicants go about it I feel, as people send their in progress classes & update grades at the end of spring. That is likely why the waitlist decision date is so late, because a lot of it depends on how accepted transfers do this semester
@justrynatransf3r right there with you. Also completed honors programs & was a PTK member. It seems ridiculous. Cal poly is really unpredictable, but I just spoke with my college advisor and she told me that they waitlisted WAY more applicants, so they will likely accept a lot more on the waitlist than previous years. It seems like they were just under a crunch to get decisions out. I just hope we find out sooner rather than later
I dont know about a crunch to get decisions out… they officially have until April so I dont see any rush. Probably more related to not wanting to officially admit more students until they have a better idea of how many are comitted so they wont have the issue they had years ago admitting more students than they could accommodate.

I changed my major and Cal Poly confirmed it but on my portal it still has my old major, should I be worried lol

Nope
My portal still says the same thing that no determination has been made. I went to a counselor today at Cuesta and she said last year it was staggered like this.
Any other communication majors? I have a 3.92 and all required courses done, but no decision yet.
Just got an email regarding the waitlist (I was added to the waitlist monday)

@justrynatransf3r I just got the email, too. It says if one wants to be removed from the waitlist to follow the link, hmmm does that mean if one is interested to stay on the list, to do nothing?
The waitlist e-mail states " If you no longer wish to be considered for admission to Cal Poly and would like to be removed from our waitlist, please follow this link to indicate your decision to be removed by Wednesday, March 20." As I understand it, it means to follow this link and indicate the desire to be removed from the waitlist, otherwise to do nothing if I’m interested in staying waitlisted. Anyone else thinks the same?
