Anyone else having issues? Started last night. Sometimes won’t load at all. Typing needs to be done very slowly.
And that “2 new plural” is again showing where there are new posts.
Site acting weirdly.

Yes, I got a message last night when I tried to post a comment that said, “We are on overload, try again later,” or something like that. I came back later and it was fine.
I couldn’t get in last night. I was wondering if it was a decision day for colleges, with too much traffic.
Yes, both last night and just now I received the “over capacity” notice. I also got some error message when I tried to open a thread.
I haven’t notice any of those issues.
I made a thread on this in the Forum Issues section last night.
When I open the main Cafe page, the site tells me that I need to log in, but if I open a thread, I can post just fine.
It keeps logging me out and giving error messages. When I tried to post about this yesterday in Forum Issues, it said I didn’t have permission to post.
I keep getting logged out, too. The typing delay was very bad yesterday; at first I thought it was something on my system eating the processor, but it seems to have been CC itself.
Same, still being logged out every time I switch between threads. When this started yesterday I was sure it was performance issues related to server load as several large schools (UCLA, UVA, etc) were releasing decisions. But it seems to be continuing today so maybe there is another reason…Moderators?
I noticed…maybe because I was checking out one of the threads for decisions at one of the schools my daughter was waiting to hear from. It still has been having issues today, but also judging from the posts, the thread is very active today

Right at the moment I happened to be reading this thread a message popped up stating the site was overloaded. Also keep losing the “latest posts” link in upper left corner.
Those darn students waiting for their admissions decisions ! Shouldn’t there be a website where they can check that stuff out ? Oh, wait……

UCLA released decsions for freshmen last night so tons of students were on that thread refreshing every 10 seconds, that could have been why. Im having trouble with the notifications, i usually have an email sent to me when theres a new post on my bookmarked threads, but i havent been getting anything :-/ . I have my notifications set up right too, anyone else have this problem?
I’ve been having Issues also. I’ve had to log in many times, and have received multiple messages like the site couldn’t handle what was going on.
I’ve seen the Latest Posts part intermittently change to Recent Discussions and the “X new plural” thing too.
Same here–the logging in thing is really annoying.
