<p>Problem With CC Discussion Pages Loading
Hey there, can someone please help with this problem…I can access CC discussion pages via my IPad and android But not via my MacBook Pro. Everything was fine till last night. Now on my MacBook Pro I can get to CC’s main page but when I try to load any “discussion” pages, the page stays blank.</p>
<p>I thought it was my computer and reloaded Safari last night, then another poster contacted me via Facebook and asked the same question as they are having the same problem. They do not use a Mac that I am aware of.</p>
<p>HELP me fix this please</p>
<p>**I posted the above message this morning in the community forum, there are a few replies from others with similar problems but I am assuming that many who are having problems cannot post.</p>

<p>I have not been able to load the discussion pages on my desktop or laptop (not macs) and have not been able to load the login page either also couldn’t load on my iPhone or kids computers/iPhones. I sent CC an email this a.m. Asking for assistance…no reply yet. Found an open CC discussion forum on my iPhone and it works but can’t access new loads.</p>
<p>That happened for a while on my Blackberry then it just started working this morning. It seems like they might have been doing some maintenance yesterday. Sorry no help from me.</p>

<p>Try dumping your cookies and cache files- restart your computer and reload your browser.
Yesterday, I assume they were doing maintenance, are you still having trouble today?</p>
<p>If you have an iPad you can go to safari settings and clear your cookies & data and restart by doing a soft reboot( holding home button and sleep button down until you see Apple logo)
You could also try another browser like icab.</p>
<p>I and a lot of other Mac users reloaded Safari, rebooted, emptied cache, cleared cookies and did pings last night. We still cannot get the forums to bring up anything but a blank white page.

<p>Yesterday I couldn’t access the discussion forum after around 5 PM. I tried from 2 diferrent laptops, an iPad and an iPhone but none of them would connect. Other CC friends told me via email that they were not having any problems. </p>
<p>This morning all was back to normal. The CC Facebook page makes mention of some ongoing technical issues so I guess they’ll get it worked out for everyone soon enough.</p>
<p>My HP using Firefox will not load either. I have to use iPad or iPhone to get to discussions. Last night a weird message was inthe pages. Today they are blank.</p>
<p>Accessing using a proxy server. Otherwise, it’s no go. Tried two different versions of Safari, as well as Firefox . . . it’s just not happening!</p>
<p>MaineLonghorn has posted in “Community & Forum Issues” that the admin’s are aware of the problem, and the tech’s are working on it.</p>
<p>Thanks everyone for the diagnostic information. Reading the posts, I can’t find a common thread as far as browser/device. It is interesting that some folks mention using a proxy server helps which indicates a blocked IP issue. I’m unable to reproduce the issue as of yet and the servers don’t show any errors to point me in the right direction.</p>

<p>Just wait. It sounds like the issue is NOT on your end. Some folks who had difficulty accessing this forum yesterday are not having trouble today.</p>
<p>Thanks thumper1. I did actually find one of the servers throwing a blank page instead of the forum and I’ve removed it from the pool of servers. If anyone continues to have issues with blank pages, please do this for me. Visit <a href=“http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/server.html[/url]”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/server.html</a> and then PM me the server name. Hopefully I found the only one having this issue.</p>
