So you can spend $65K a year.

Drexel may or may not come in. Same with Syracuse which I said is worth a try. All the schools I put in post 4 should work which are:

UVM, UNH, URI, UDel, WVU, George Mason, SUNY Albany, Buffalo, West Chester for large. I also said Ole Miss (which is probably the best of the list), UNC Wilmington and Iowa - others that will hit budget. I’m not sure if Iowa is safe for English but it is safe overall and top 10 in most rankings - which is why I noted it. I also mentioned Pitt as - you should try.

For smaller but not small, I noted Salisbury, Millersville, TCNJ and Ithaca. All should hit but you’d need merit at Ithaca to get there - which I’d expect.

But many schools would be over $65K - but since you don’t want small and you have a limited geography, those should all be good cost and curriculum wise. If you could/would go to the midwest, the list would grow.
