well it’s already past 12 here. so Isaac we are already in 2007. meet u after 10 mins

thanks for your advice Porkey but I don’t think its never too late to learn anything. Besides I said I submitted my apps to the Jan deadine colleges and rest are all Feb 1 or Feb 15. So I have enough time to send it through mail as well. let alone go through the whole process of using commonapp.org as u mentioned.I might have been ignorant but I guess that is why we are using cc, to help each other out. if I knew everything about college application, I wouldn’t be here. But thanks for your advice

~HappY 2007 YeaR~

ohh so now its that u’ve only got febs deadlinerzz, cool!udon’t have to worry too much abt commonapp just follw their instructions n then ur done with it

yeah…do whatever u feel easy…but I never trust these Post Office People…

no novice…doing online could save you a lot of bucks more than anything else…

^ya talking abt bucks - it will :)

Is everyone so busy right now??

hello everyone. I am new in this forum. Heard that there was a Nepali thread going very well so I also thought of joining you all. First of all Happy New year to you all. I did +2. My stats are top 5% in high school.SATI-2000, Math 750, Writing 650, CR 600. I am taking SATII on Jan because I went a bit off schedule as I was doing my engg preparation. So how is everyone here doing? has anyone got into any big schools. Sorry I can’t go back and read 68 pages.

do you all think it’s worth appying to CMU with these stats. Are they fine with the JAn SATIIs?

well that sat 1 score is a bit low for my liking…i mean i have 2060 and i am still struggling…you need near 800’s in physics and maths to prove your worth for CMU i guess because of your lower sat 1 score…and by the way…does CMU give fin aid…i think it doesn’t…else i would have applied there for sure…

and what about urs EC’s ToUSin007…tell this forum more about urself…

and regarding the 68 pages…believe me it would worth the effort going through them…

no aid in CMU

my EC, not that much shail. College Basketball team, college quiz team, school magazine chief editor, Drama club President and General secretary in the school alumni. bits in other things as well. the CMU thing came out of nowhere when a friend of mine suggested me. I saw that you are applying to IUB, well two of my friends applied there for round one but I am not sure what happened to them as they are in no contact with me these days. But your stats look more impressive than theirs. They are in the ~1900 SATs and top 10%. so best of luck with IUB

btw, how many colleges names do u all write in the ISFAA form. Do we have to fill all the six spaces? isn’t it only meant to give the colleges a brief information about the cost of other schools we are applying to or I am wrong here.

It’s entirely upon you to decide…it doesn’t matter how many colleges’s name you fill in i guess…and two more ppl for IUB…damn…the number just keeps on growing…

ok thanks. and yes about the IUB, well there might not be strong applicants but there definitely is many applicants.

In college application, you never know about the true strength of the applicants…One might have awesome SAT scores but the other might blow all away with a rocking personal essay…same applies to IUB applicants from Nepal…

^^wow is this true ?? in IUB too ??
