Many college do that. Write a letter to them. They would probably reduce your EFC.

guys I got rejected from Kenyon today
but they are saying that they will
file my application 4 2 yrs!!!
(just a way of consoling I believe)
but their way of rejection was better than that of skidmore…

well it’s not unusual for a few colleges to say that. even after i decided not to enroll in one college, they told me they would keep my app just in case i decide to apply again next year. by making it easier for you to apply next year, it helps their case by increasing the number of applicants, which decreases their acceptance rate… hence helping them increase their rankings.</p>

<p>that Kenyon said the same thing to me last year…but after replying to their message asking why I was rejected they again got into the same act of consoling by saying that my app was very strong and nothing was bad about it. It was just the volume of apps that year and blah blah blah…</p>

<p>I think 3 students from STXC got into IUB round 2. SO thats a total of 7 for the two rounds from STXC and BNKS.</p>
