feedback: Did your S apply early decision to Clemson? My D is anxiously waiting on news from Clemson. She is out-of-state, so would that delay the news?

Thank you, Ag54! This is very nerve racking…

D got her acceptance letter today from Clemson with a $14,000 per year academic scholarship!

That is fantastic, Mamagx3!! Hope you can all celebrate tonight!

: )

Has anyone heard from Michigan/Ann Arbor? Do they give money with the acceptance letter?

When you are told that your early decision answer will come on Dec 15th, is that by mail or on line, am or pm? Does anyone know?

When my D applied for 08, it came by letter.

son got admitted into McCombs - UT Austin.

Major congrats Papajones!! My middle son is a junior accounting major at McCombs and loves it! Great professors, great classmates, overall great experience - plus he’s in Austin!!

My D’s stats are:

4.75 GPA
Class rank: 3/489
ACT: 32
SAT: 1910 - waiting on Oct. 10th scores

The letter from Clemson stated that other scholarships won’t be determined until spring, so hopefully she may get more. The $14,000 was an Out-of-State academic scholarship.

Congrats, old friend!

Son got accepted to Auburn, too!

nice stats mamagx!

congrats!

Congratulations! :D

Great news! Congrats.

Montegut - congrats to your son!! :)

Let’s just hope this is the first of many!!!

GRCX…

Congrats!!!

Will he likely be awarded some merit money?? :)

Isn’t it great??? Take a big EXHALE - you and your son deserve it!!!

mom2collegekids - As long as there haven’t been any changes to the freshman scholarship requirements, he should get a 2/3 tuition scholarship, which I think would basically just leave the in-state tuition costs. That’s why Auburn was both his academic and financial safety. He’s still hoping for Penn State…

whew safeties all taken care of now… UAB full ride, UA full tuition, honors college and invitation to apply for honors programs and fellows, Auburn full tuition, honors college, extra for tech and an extra for research or study abroad. now to wait on oos decisions and see what merit is possible
