@1Dreamer - I think the problem with you wearing only the the thong was that, despite the conventional wisdom, sometimes an applicant is too pointy. In your case, well rounded might have been better.

There’s an acronym for it, but it escapes me at the moment.

@1Dreamer , my stats are very similar to those of the average excellent student. I am aiming for HYPSM, so I need to take risks. @sherpa , it’s me in the thong, and don’t you forget it!
Ladies: I am guessing there are too many men on this thread, they tend to be distracted by pointy spikes and rounded hooks. Don’t you agree?
ETA: given @1Dreamer 's concerns, which are legitimate, I will attempt to steer it back to the topic at hand. I can’t really remember what that is though.

@Lindagaf - Did you just Rickroll the thread? I didn’t know that could be done. That shows a lot of passion. In fact, I’d go so far as to say you just passionately Rickrolled the thread in a pointy, pointy way. Not a hook, mind you, but more than a spike. I’m willing to go out on a limb and proclaim that your passionate spike has spiked to a strong tip. I expect a fat envelope will be arriving soon.
HYPSM CC APP ESSAY! PROMPT 1, WHAT FARM ANIMAL WOULD I BE AND WHY
I wandered, lonely as a cloud!!! The farm was very loud. Too many tractors and mooing cows. So I slinked out of the barn and ate a bunch of tasty mice on my way to the farm house. In the house, I met a mouse. I ate it. The farmer’s wife was happy and gave me a saucer of milk. I curled up on the sofa with the farmer’s wife and she tickled my tummy, but I didnt actually like it so I scratched her and hissed. She went to bed. I was bored, so I tore up a roll of toilet paper and left. I hissed at the dog too, on the way out, just to show who was boss. The dog really isn’t very bright. On my way back to the barn, I was distracted by a lot of mice, who decided to play, because the cat was away. Being a barn cat is awesome because you get to hang out with the humans who give you food, but you also get to kill mice, which is really fun.
HYPSM is my dream school, and CC is my dream app. Do you think my essay is good enough?
@Lindagaf - The barn cat essay is trite and overdone. Better to show your passion for thinking outside the box by passionately writing from a more obtuse, spikier point of view. Think fleas on the cat’s belly or, better yet, intestinal bacteria.
