Nothing here either, one more week.
anyone know if the notification date itself is June 1st, or is if it’s just any time before that
i believe that June 1st is the last day that they will notify
This is strange there’s no announcement or emails or phone calls by anybody on this thread …
yeah also im taking 3 ap’s on june 1 so i hope we get notified before then
Strange indeed. Sitting on nails all week; or is it like water torture? What’s the likely time for them to call? Any thoughts? Early evenings when both applicants and parents are home?
I’m starting to think that they’ll just mass notify all of us on June 1. Or that they’ll extend the notification date. This complete silence is really strange…
If I were mass emailing I wouldn’t wait till last day
anyone else think today or tomorrow then? idek at this point
Tomorrow or weekend for finalists, June 1 st senators or rejected.
Where did you find out that information .
I was replying to silentlasagna proposing a guess; sorry, offered only as prediction.
Any more clues from last year’s finalists on what time, what day calls happen?
theirs happened around May 22 last year I believe
Ok … well we shall see if today we hear anything …
Notification Deadline was pushed back to July 1 due to COVID.
Just got an email saying that they extended the notification date until July 1st. More waiting
Received the same email stating July 1st .
Also got the email. It looks like we’ll have another month of waiting --I just hope we find out on the early rather than the late side of June, but who knows? I’m glad they told us, though… A contest I’m in was supposed to announce results months ago, and has been utterly silent about the delay.
What did you write about in your essays? In my second essay, I wrote about Coolidge’s political courage and good character (which is built on work ethic and consistency with your values). In my third essay, I wrote about how Coolidge would veto a lot of discretionary spending, limit foreign aid/pull US troops out of the Middle East, and get the OMB to write limited budget proposals to cut spending and therefore minimize the deficit.
I just wrote about Coolidge’s dedication to service and practice of self-interest rightly understood and for the third essay, I honestly didn’t really know much about the budget and I only found out two weeks before so I kinda just pieced stuff together
