Did anyone recently get anything from CALS? ppl from other schools are receiving emails, calls, etc. Apparently, one person on reddit got off the ILR waitlist.

When my son got the email last year on a Friday, it was Tuesday morning that he heard back with an offer. Good luck!

Hello, welcome to wait together here. My daughter is also on the B.Arch waitlist. Historically, this program has very high yield rates, more than 80%, so maybe there is a SMALL number of people on the waiting list this year, too.

Oof
I didn’t get any new email. Looks like I’m cooked

Thank you! You have been so helpful throughout these past few months, truly thank you.

so will there be another wave or is it over?

Relax and enjoy the weekend. There’s been no wave. Also, please remember that there are 9 schools that each run their own admissions processes. One email to one applicant in one particular school does not impact another school.

It isn’t over. There are no big waves. A waitlist acceptance could come next week or as late as July.

I know a friend at Cornell right now who got in June. It’s never over till you give up.

I was wondering if people who got off the waitlist submitted their loci and q3 grades

Submitted loci like end of first week April, contained a very major update around an extracurricular In my letter and I know they read it since they clicked on a link in it. I mentioned my grades but didn’t send them since my school only sends Final Grades.

Does intl’s get the CAS email at the same time?

Do you know anyone else who got off the ILR waitlist and do you think if they’re still taking people off the waitlist for ILR since it’s a smaller school?

At least two others got off, I would guess some more got off too. Of the states I know of people who got off, it’s all non New York so far. I didn’t ask about others getting off the waitlist sorry I was just happy about getting off the waitlist on the call. I think you could email the ilr email, I felt they emailed back in time and pretty honestly.

I will say that the way they’re sending out acceptances officially for ILR is in a way to guarantee 100% yield on waitlist offers. I think any more ILR offers will come from admitted students getting off the waitlist somewhere else. Probably Penn Chicago and Columbia would be the biggest draw away since those schools are taking more off the waitlist compared to usual so I would guess the next wave would be in June. Wishing the best for you and everyone else waitlisted.

LMAO what im sayinggg

also waitlisted for barch :0

I saw that CAS typically sends out two waves of acceptances off the waitlist in the past years, is that likely to happen this year? Also is the number of people who got off the waitlist for CAS similar in both waves?

Unless someone here is an admissions officer at Cornell, no one knows the answer to these questions. It’s all just conjecture.
