thank you so much

Big Congrats to him and your family.

St Andrews! It’s in Scotland which is a big difference. How about you?

UC Davis! really hoping for cornell to work out though :frowning: has anyone spoken to cals admissions about the waitlist for the animal science major?

UC Davis is one of the best vet schools in the world if that’s what you are planning on becoming. That’s super exciting!!

yes i want to be a vet so super excited! I still really hope cornell works out, their hands on vet classes look amazing! and congrats on st Andrews

nope

can one of the accepted applicants from cals send the waitlist acceptance email they received?

someone did for cals on reddit idk the user tho but I think it was under the cornell page

can you see if you have the link?

it wont let me attach a line for some reason but if u go onto reddit and then onto the cornell page (r/cornell) then the title of the post it us under is “Accepted off the waitlist” like yesterday and then if u scroll through the comments there is a thread where someone posts the image of the email

Do you think that because people are getting off the waitlist for CALS that they meant next week will be when they finalize acceptances?

Anyone hear about Nolan admits?

New to this mega thread. Quick question, are waitlist emails (followed by an acceptance letter a few days later) sent on any given random day between May 2nd through June/July? Or are they sent in waves that fall on a Friday/Thursday or whenever they have been historically sent?

A student who lives near me got off Dyson waitlist a few days ago!!

typically email asking for interest on friday followed by an offer early the next week

One of my waitlisted friends emailed them too. For their email, it said that they may have to wait well into the summer for their decision, however mine exclusively mentioned “having a clear picture by next week.” My best guess is that there’s a second wave coming next week? The delayed waves (because last year’s waves began on 4/21) could potentially be explained by the FAFSA this year, but I’m as unknown to this process as anyone else on this thread. I do know that there were at least two different times last year for CALS admits off the waitlist, and each time different majors were let off. Other than that, all we can really do is wait.

Do you have more info about this? I haven’t heard anything from Dyson.

I saw on Instagram that he committed 3 days ago. I don’t really know him, sorry ):
