The email just said to enter your name onto the waitlist if interested and also upload any additional information through the portal. It also said to submit the mid-year grade report.

Wait what do I do if I can’t submit an updated grade report? My school doesn’t finish publishing those grades till the end of the month and if I submit it like a week before they finish reviewing waitlists, it won’t even have much effect.

Anyone on the waitlist know if it is ok to send multiple updates? I know they discourage extra letters of recommendation but unsure if that’s the case for other updates for academic/non-academic accomplishments, etc.

Do they really mind how many documents you submit if their focus is to make sure they don’t miss any of your updates?

All ILR people; just got a response to my email, they usually give waitlists who aren’t accepted transfer options.

Thank you! Very interesting. I wonder if the ILR waitlist is shorter than the other schools? We know the program is significantly smaller. I think about 250 freshman. Because how many transfer options can they give out?

I think a good chunk of waitlist folks in colleges that don’t offer TO are in a similiar band to the ILR TO folks, so the actual “waitlist” of ILR is proportionally smaller im guessing. I heard the hotel school also gives TO to those rejected off the waitlist too

I checked the threads for the waitlists of the last couple years and i saw that there was an email that was sent with a form. Has anyone received it this year yet?

ig it was an extra essay or another form that was about interest in the waitlist im not sure. looking through reddit and last years forum, i reckon it was sent to those that went on to be accepted off the waitlist.
