Do you know if your son still has other financial aid forms as “processing?” I just checked through the link and the CSS form is still “processing” but I don’t see a FAFSA form on the to-do list even though I applied with FAFSA.

Hypothetically, mid August. Realistically, based on past data, late June.

Did they send anyone in COE the topic for essay. The April 9 email said they will send the essay topic if they decide to go for the COE wait-list.

Looks fine. They received what they need.
Just last week COE told us after we submitted an update that they haven’t yet decided whether they’ll go to waitlist and may not for a couple weeks, but if they decide to everyone on waitlist will receive essay prompt. Same as countless others have reported

How do you know if Cornell has processed your FAFSA?
This is what I have heard as well. Wondering if they will even go to their waitlist at all? Waitlists at other programs and schools have lots of activity already so maybe they predicted their yield accurately. Has everyone committed to another college? Interested where everyone is slated to go?

Did anyone email the financial office back after they sent the email for missing items? Did they respond to your email yet?
Does CALS come out only on Mondays and Thursdays?

I don’t recall seeing here if anyone was able to determine what date last year COE waitlist started moving. Maybe they’re always late and this is normal for them

i think last year they started admitting ppl starting may 2nd and all throughout may and the extra question was sent at the end of April. they are probably still deciding whether or not to use the waitlist so ig if they do, it will only be a small amount of people

Oh. Well if that’s right then probably correct that unfortunately it won’t be much, or at least less than last year given the relative timing.
After all, the FAFSA delays affected every other Cornell college as well and they seem to be moving
