I accidentally read the email wrong and I had to decide by today if I wanted to be offered an acceptance which is quite odd. This is what the email said:
Greetings from Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS). I am writing with exciting news: We would like to extend an offer of admission to you!
Are you still interested in attending Cornell CALS this fall as a Animal Science major? If you would like to attend Cornell in the fall of 2024, I would be honored to arrange for you to receive an official offer of admission. **For CALS to offer you admission, please reply to this email by Tuesday, June 11 at 6 p.m. ET using the appropriate link below, so that I can initiate the admission process.
If you respond “yes” to this email, here’s what will happen next:
After responding “yes” to this email, you will receive a notification via email on the afternoon of Thursday, June 13 ET to check your updated online decision through your application portal (please do not check your portal until you receive the email notification).
Same question. Someone in this forum remarked that later acceptances in June are normally given to intl’s, so I’m looking forward to the coming Friday for CAS
Still really damn desperate about CAS waitlist. Still haven’t heard back from them. What’s the point in sending me an email if you are gonna reject me in the end
Take it easy, we are in the same situation. Did you say yes to TO option? At this point, it is probably wise to focus on your current school choice. Good luck!
Students have no control to the application process. Cas probably sent emails to more students than the spots they have to fill in each wave. Unfortunately we were the unlucky ones.
For all of you who got off the WL, how does housing work? Im getting my email and whatnot on thursday and I have a roommate lined up, but he got in RD and submitted his housing already.
