My friend in England who is a big CtM fan told me it is still good but not the same without Jenny. 
New series remake of Poldark just started in the UK which will be on Masterpiece starting in June. My friends are swooning over the lead Aiden Turner. They actually bumped into him in Bristol one weekend last year (he was filming another show at the time) and he was so yummy they have been following him ever since.
Epi One was just this week and they’ve reported it’s very good and the scenery is spectacular.

Poldark!!! I loved Poldark as a kid. I wanted to grow up and marry Ross 
I’d never heard of it but I was in college during the 70’s and the only things we watched were SNL and Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman.
My best friend’s family watched Poldark and she got me hooked on it too. Loved it! Poldark, Elizabeth, Warleggan, what was the waif’s name - I want to say Desdemona, the messy guy Judd. It was wonderful. Hard to find the old series now.
ETA - just saw that the actor who played Ross back in the 70’s will be in a show as a Reverend!

Well the pics on twitter of the cast/crew of DA meeting with the Duchess give us a few hints - Mary looks like a flapper, both Bates’ are in uniform and on set (not in prison garb), Baxter/Molesley, Patmore/Daisy still there. In the twitter photos, there is one with the whole cast. Marigold is sitting on someone’s lap and if that’s Edith she looks very different.
Is the guy in the uniform a cast member, or is he part of the retinue of the Duchess of Cambridge?
I wondered also if someone in the pic is the real aristocrat couple that lives in the “house” - you’d think they would want to meet the Dutchess as well (and have the lineage to make it a reasonable request!)

From the photo with the whole crew (minus Violet!) - who is sitting next to Mary? Is that Blake? And who is next to Edith on either side? (Edith looks great with her real hair). Who is the old guy in the uniform, and the guy next to him?
I guess we may not know until next season.
