My daughter completed 9th grade at a Specialized High School here in NYC. I think she did well. Her overall average is 93.83 (not bad). She had an A on Bio, Honors English, Spanish, Research Lit, B+ in Geometry and a B in global Studies. She got A’s in both Bio and Geometry regents. I am a little nervous about the courses she choose for 10th grade.

Honors Chemistry
Honors Spanish
Honors English
Algebra 2& trigonometry
AP Human geography (must do global regents & AP exam after this course)
Applied Science
photography
physical science research

She has summer assignments in spanish, chem and english. She did a summer program at Penn State last year; this year she volunteers for 4 wks here in NYC, and leaves for the virgin islands on the 30th for a well deserved vacation…The work for us begin in 10th grade. College info its a headche for parents! let the work begin.
