Facebook has been very glitchy today and is apparently down in many places. With as much as social media has blown up in the past day to 2, just wondering if “video killed the radio star”… as it were.
Thank goodness for CC today and the college cheating discussion to keep us entertained 
Alternatively, if this site went down, I’d have time to go to the bathroom. This thread has just been blowing up.

Yeah, that’s a pet peeve of mine, I’m not that dedicated that I bring a laptop or phone with me into the bathroom.

There are some funny gifs getting through on facebook posts. One is of a tenor singer hitting the mike, with the quote saying “is this thing on?”
It is funny, my son has been able to post all day. He is sitting in the same room as me, using the same wifi. I can not post at all, I can not react to anyone’s post, and I can not share. I can read what he is putting up though.

I can comment on some facebook posts but not on others.
Last time facebook went down the Philadelphia police had to tweet out asking people not to call 911 to report it.
Trying to post happy birthday wishes on a FB friend’s wall all day, with no success. Also had trouble doing any comment edits. Other than that, FB seems to be working normally.
I haven’t had any problem at all. I keep reading people complaining about it though.
Messenger is wonky too. tried to send photos to a friend, they first didnt work from the ipad but did from my phone. But my friend’s name has a red exclamation point by it and I dont know if any of it went through.
Is this a good reason to break up facebook? So that facebook, instagram, and what’s app can’t go down all at once?
Is Twitter behind it all?
Is facebook having revenge on us since they were served all sorts of subpoenas today regarding illegal data sharing?
Seems to be a little better tonight. Always a sign of how much we/people rely on these sites. 
Maybe Zuckerberg is helping take the heat off his buddies caught up in the scandal by reducing the opportunity for ongoing posts about them.
FB was very wonky today. I couldn’t see comments on some threads. Friends reported they couldn’t post pictures or comment…or like or share posts.
For some odd reason, The only issue I had was not being able to see comments folks made on others posts. Very weird.
It also seemed like I had a lot less new posts on my newsfeed than usual.
Wondering what was going on??
Maybe some CC moderators are on FB today to straighten out the behavior!
