I didn’t have official midterm grades to send so I saw on the transfer blog that you can upload canvas screenshots on the portal. I did that and the portal said that it had recieved these screenshots, right under where it says my high school/college transcripts were recieved. After checking a few days later, the screenshots i uploaded are no longer found anywhere on the portal. The same thing happened to someone else who is applying and uploaded canvas screenshots on the portal. Has this happened to anyone else? Were they not properly uploaded?

Yup, same thing happened to me. When I inquired they said they had gotten them.
Hey guys so I’m a freshman applying for transfer into UVA Econ and had a quick question. Can you leverage other acceptances from places like UMich and UNC to request if they could consider you for Mcintire?
@mkmk29 i don’t think that’s the best idea tbh. i’m not in the commerce/business category of majors but if you are threatening to go to another school, they will probably encourage you to do so. most colleges want sincerity, and listing your other acceptances comes off more as stat-flexing, not letting them know your personal perspectives and story. idk about other people here but i am personally not applying to uva to “rank up.” i am applying because i see something in their program that best aligns with my personal and professional goals.
with cc, it is easy to get caught up in the numbers of it all. my 2 years in school made me realize that no matter how high my program is ranked, i need to be happy with where i am at first and foremost.
i want you to succeed in getting accepted and finding a place you can thrive at but i also want you to see that your acceptances should not be bartering points. the only instance you should leverage other acceptances is in case of financial aid.

@ncook47 Financial aid has zero communication with admissions. It has to be that way because UVA is need blind. It’s seriously unlikely that what you see on your financial aid page at this stage has anything to do with your acceptance.
are you sure about that? i always assumed that the admissions office accepts students and then sends the financial aid office notification of admission so not to subject them to making financial aid packages for every single applicant
