U of R released at 7pm tho
Yeah, W&M come out with their decisions at 7pm.
i dont think they would do something that out of the ordinary, we’re most likely getting decisions on friday at either 11 am (like last year) or 5 pm, which is when they usually come out
No matter when it comes out, you are all going to be fine. Most people in these threads tend to get accepted and that is for a good reason. All of the regulars in this thread are ridiculously dedicated to what you believe in (in this case, finishing your undergrad at uva).
Stats are only a basis of what is considered, especially with a school with an admissions office as engaging as uva’s. Unless you high-school style stat-flexed in your essay, I’m sure they will see what I have seen throughout this thread: extremely dedicated and talented students that genuinely want to engage and thrive in their community.
If you are here just to “rank up,” I fear that they will see that as well. Compared to most threads though, there aren’t a lot of those kind of people here and the ones that do tend to see the world in “stat-colored” glasses, putting down others who got in not just on stats but on portraying their genuine self through their application.
At the end of the day, we are all going to be fine. If we can try to detect patterns that will let us know if we will be accepted into this school, imagine what we can do with that level of dedication in the working world. We got this

@averydelt Hey! I’m also a student at VCU rn, currently a freshman engineering major. Hopefully planning to transfer to either UVA or VT in the fall for engineering, really can’t decide which on tho. VCU was my first choice actually but it wasn’t what I thought it was gonna be

I actually have Covid @hashtagrejected so I think it would be a good move for me to take the 4.0 if I don’t get in. It has definitely made life more difficult.

Thank you! I’ll be alright just hoping the University doesn’t penalize me for being selective about which courses are P/F or letter grade.
