Hi! Have any political science (BS) majors heard back yet? I applied well before the deadline and havenāt heard back or been deferred for spring grades. (I have over 24 hours completed and all required done, so how likely is it that I would be deferred?) I am just wondering what the timeline to hearing back is and when I should start to worry if I havenāt heard back! Thank you!

On transfer course sheet, the minimum GPA applies to applicants with highest number of transferable hours. So for applicants with minimum number of hours, the GPA requirement can be much higher.

When did you apply? When did you get your transfer audit from Tamu and do you have all required courses complete?
I completed application I think January 20th. And it seems to be all completed.

Iām surprised thereās been no movement but itās still time. They may be working on all ETaM students before transfers.
We have several friends going into all sorts of different majors still waiting too. Looking back on Transfer threads on this site from past years, many applicants heard back right about through mid-April! Fingers crossed for you all!
*Around this week through mid-April, for hearing they were accepted.
I found out the friends still waiting are going for: Public Health, Political Science, Sports Marketing, Psychology.

My daughter has two friends that applied as transfers, and they both got their tabs on Saturday. One of them - Education major, 25 hours, 4.0. I donāt know about the other oneā¦ psych or sociology major I believe.

Stats for Mays Transfer:
54 hours from West Texas A&M University
3.9 overall gpa
4.0 gpa in required courses for transfer
Even with those stats we were still very nervous.
