@CC_Sorin I tagged you on the thread that was hopping around…but here it is. Just kept taking me back 20 or more posts. Very annoying. IPad using Safari.

Thanks for flagging, @thumper1! The latest on this issue is that tech has finally been able to reproduce the issue and are now working on figuring out the cause. Once that’s done a fix will be pushed to solve the matter. Will keep you updated!

@CC_Sorin I think I can add some detail to this jumping around issue. It happens when I am reading a thread where I have a LOT of posts I haven’t read.
I just finished reading the colleges closing thread…and I had about 100 posts to look at. This forum reloaded four times during my reading of this one thread.
This has happened to me before when I have a lot of posts to read on a thread.

Was this issue ever supposedly resolved? If so, it still happens to me. Tonight something similar but even more annoying is happening. When I open a thread that has a few unread new posts, it immediately jumps all the way to the bottom of my screen, past the new posts and the recommended other threads listed below that. When I try, slowly, to scroll back up to the new, unread posts, it suddenly jumps way backward into the thread. And there is no “back” button on the right next to the post number (as I’ve seen on other threads, like someone above mentioned) so I then have to scroll all the way back to the bottom and try to find where the new posts are.
Am I the only one suddenly experiencing this? I’m using Safari on my ipad.
I’m still having the problem too. And my notifications aren’t working correctly either.

This happens to me frequently and can be frustrating. Sometimes the blue back button appears and sometimes it doesn’t. I thought the jumping around had something to do with ads loading, but maybe not?
Same problem, always jumping around to previous post that I have read. Safari on IPad.
Yup. Me too. Safari (on both iPhone and iMac)
Seems to have gotten worse today. iPhone and MacBook Air.

Yes, it was not too bad before this, but today was noticeably worse. Practically unreadable on my iphone, I gave up trying. It is still readable on my laptop but jumps more than it did before.

I see some jumping around on a computer on the forum home page. It renders, then if I click on a thread, it jumps so that the click lands on the wrong thread.
This has just started happening to me on my iPhone and iPad within the last day. There are only a few posts in the unread threads that start jumping.
I’m having the same issue. iPhone. Super annoying. Is this being loooked into?
I was going to write this yesterday…lots of jumping around, returning to lower number posts, and reloading the page. Clearly, this problem persists.
I’m seeing the jumping around issue on my iphone, not on my computer.
It’s gotten worse. Unreadable on my iPhone last night and this morning.
When I click a notification instead of taking me to that post, it jumps back halfway into the thread.

I am able to replicate the issue on mobile. I reported it and am hoping for a quick fix.
