Ditto on the double images. Sent @CCadmin_Sorin a screenshot
Thanks for reporting! I have already created a support ticket. Will update once I hear back.
A new quote button!
I guess we will be seeing a lot more quoting here.
The dbl images are the sort of random, unwanted changes that drive me nuts. Just saying: we’ve been angling for functional, useful fixes and these little wacky things keep showing up, instead.
It also made it hard to see that we agree with you!
Now I cant log in on my tablet. Takes me to an error message.
I can’t log in on my iPad either. I’m getting this error message:
Notice: Undefined index: token in /var/www/cc_auth/src/Hobsons/MSSSO/Bundle/SimpleSamlBundle/Security/Firewall/SspListener.php on line 37
My iPad log in has always been my email address as my username. However, I just tried to log in on my phone and noticed it had my username as the log in. When I tried to log in with my email on my phone, using the password associated with it, it says my username/password is incorrect.
The only reason I’m able to post is b/c I finally got on my Mac just to see if I could even log in. Thankfully I can or I wouldn’t have been able to post here with my issues. What a mess!
Yes, I also see double images over all the icons. This started yesterday, @CCadmin_Sorin
@4kids4us Same error message here.
Kind of a reverse Midas touch going on. Touch something or other and lose.
Or Hercules and the hydra: chop off one head and 7 grow in its place.
Another “improvement” without explaination of what we are improving. Now I can’t log in from mobile. And who knows if I will ever get on again from my computer, it gave me an error message when I tried to log in and then I was logged in. But I never had to use email and password. So the next time I get logged off may be my last time I can be on here without creating a new login.
Same. Can’t log in on my ipad and my computer still had me logged in. When I say I forgot password or user name, it takes me to a screen to type my email address than says contact an administrator, which just takes me to a new email. I emailed anyway and have yet to get a response.
@CCadmin_Sorin , I can’t log into my account on my desktop! Luckily I have thisnpage open on my iPad. I’ve been using the same email address and password since I joined CC in 2014. What’s going on?
I emailed the address given when I tried to lo in. It says there was an error.
Add Ohmomof2 to the list of “can’t log in or reset password” - not on any browser, not after clearing cookies, not at all in any way.
Finally created this account just so i could let someone know. I’d appreciate it if this new one isn’t banned until I can access my normal one…
Guys, there is a log in issue that the support team is currently trying to fix. I cannot log in on my phone as well. We hope to have an update soon. Thanks!
This is now fixed. Thanks!
The entire site no longer works on Safari. I can navigate w/o logging in, but once I click any hyperlink, I receive this message:
Notice: Undefined index: token in /var/www/cc_auth/src/Hobsons/MSSSO/Bundle/SimpleSamlBundle/Security/Firewall/SspListener.php on line 37
I moved over to Chrome, and after a few attempts, I was finally able to reach the page where I could request a new password, even though I was using the correct password. It is not possible to even reach that page while using Safari.
Earlier in the day, requesting a new password produced a message saying there was no record of my email address.
The lingering problem of receiving updates on threads you no longer wish to follow still continues. Unflagging the thread on its first page does not resolve. So many negatives associated with these ‘updates’ but I have yet to see any positive outcomes.
Just was able to get back in with help from @CCadmin_Sorin. Clearing the cache and history worked. I had to reset my password but at least I’m back on.
The problem for me was not being able to access the forum site at all to read through the suggestions.
Below is a list of what we have identified as possible steps to solve the issue:
- Clear the cache
- Reset the password (click on the "Trouble signing in?" link on the sign up page)
- Your new password must be 8-16 characters and contain at least 1 letter, 1 number and symbol
If you performed these actions and are still not being able to log in, please let me know so we can look into the case.
Hope this helps!
I think the problem will be that anyone who is locked out will not be able to read this workaround.
