Forum Relaunch Feedback: Status Update

This is NOT working on my android phone. It did work on my computer though.

Once I hit “sign in” I get: Notice: Undefined index: token in /var/www/cc_auth/src/Hobsons/MSSSO/Bundle/SimpleSamlBundle/Security/Firewall/SspListener.php on line 37

With an error message. I removed my icon and tried a different browser on my phone.

Is there a solution that I missed?

Site is acting super glitchy for me since getting logged back in. Very very slow and it’s hit or miss where it takes me when I go back to posts after reading a thread. The number box telling me unread replies is also not changing after I’ve read through the posts.

Still only on my phone. Hopefully when I get back home to my computer it will be better.

@Knowsstuff

Same problem here. It works fine in Incognito mode, though.

I don’t like the light peach color for tagging people. @CCadmin_Sorin.

So I created a fix that worked for me. You can clear the cache but on my android phone it didn’t work. But what did work was

Go to your history of your phone and delete the last week of CC. This will force you to the log in page and either create the new password or use the one that you created on your computer.

You should be able to log into your phone now. If it works for you then let people know but everything works now while using my phone.

I was never able to get to the change your password option. But even if I was, the email that I used when I initially registered is no longer in effect so I wouldn’t be able to change it that way. I downloaded a new browser and registered anew. I hope I don’t get penalized for trying to maintain my relationship with collegeconfidential.

Page tracking numbers are back!! Thank you!

YAY!!

Yes, thank you for fixing the page tracking! However, I was locked out today and had to reset password etc.

I know we are experiencing some major issues at the moment, but I wanted to announce that we have fixed the page tracking so that it’s now visible which page you’re on when reading through a discussion. Although there are hiccups from time to time, the College Confidential team is working hard to improve the user experience on the site. We are here, reading through your comments, concerns, and suggestions and do our best to provide the best experience. Hope to share some more positive updates shortly!

Well, I am almost completely shut out of CC. CC is no longer accessible on my Ipad (all I see is a blank screen and ads). Now I can’t log in with my phone. My desktop still works, but for how long? Not being able to login to a website is typically a serious enough issue to fix immediately, like in minutes. How many days has it been?

When I try to sign in I get

Notice: Undefined index: token in /var/www/cc_auth/src/Hobsons/MSSSO/Bundle/SimpleSamlBundle/Security/Firewall/SspListener.php on line 37

No way to change password. I’ve already emptied my cache and delete cookies and restarted firefox.

@mathmom try “Anonymous View” with Startpage (my default search engine). It let me do what i needed to do to get my account back.

https://www.startpage.com/do/search - put in “college confidential forums”, choose “anonymous view” to the right of the main link, and see if you can reset your pw there.

It still takes me to the error page. Sigh. Ooos tried one more time and it worked.

I get what @mathmom gets but just on my phone. I’ve cleared my entire cache and history. No improvement. I’ve shut down my phone. I’ve excited out of all applications.

I can log in on my iPad, no problem (thank you) but I can’t log in on my iPhone…At.All.

Is CC going to notice my password doesn’t have symbols? Do I have to sign out to change it?

I am able to log in with my phone again. Thank you for fixing the issue.

If you made it in without changing your password, you’re good to go; there’s no need to change it.

Either a password complies with the new requirements, or it doesn’t. Why would some non-compliant passwords still work? And will they continue to work?

Was locked out the past week. Cleared my cache and it works now. Honestly was helpful given I was in the middle of finals week.
