Are yall ever going to fix the bookmarking function? It takes 5-6 clicks for a bookmark to take. Very annoying. (mobile device)
It also takes a song and dance to un bookmark a thread!
@thumper1 – I still have not figured out how to un-bookmark a thread and would really like to know.
I think you just click the bookmark tag… it should change from blue to white.
That used to work, but it no longer does, at least not on Safari.
@suzyQ7 yes, it should just change from black or blue or wherever…to white.
BUT when I go to unbookmark, I need to tap on the mark several times…and then hold my finger on the mark for a couple of seconds. This is with an iPad.
It should take ONE tap.
Same for me.
I am using the mouse on a desktop computer. The color changes from solid navy to the outline of the bookmark icon when I click the mouse, but the notifications never stop, including some that I had un-bookmarked long before the update.
I don’t have this issue, Chrome, laptop or cell. That’s what makes it challenging, we don’t know what standard is.
I do have an odd situaton where bookmarks sometimes disappear on their own. I only discover that when something appears high enough on the Latest Posts list and I’m dumbfounded to realize how many posts I missed. These aren’t threads I have only idle interest in.
I have the same bookmarking issue as @CT1417 but I’m using Chrome. It was the same when I was using Firefox.
To expand: topics that appear on My Bookmark list and have the bookmark icon colored in are NOT providing notifications while topics I attempted to un-flag ages ago continue to provide notifications.
We are happy to announce that we have completed the work and moved the Latest Posts to the top of the Highlights Block. We also got rid of the “Search entire site” option so that you now only search for content from the forums.
After the new launch I was able to see the content of comments on my notifications page (on a computer). Now I am back to just seeing so and so commented on such and such thread. I liked seeing the start of their comments (sometime the whole comment fit). Saved me time from clicking into a lot of threads.
Just saying: not sure why Latest and Bookmarks are separated by Activity. I’d wager no one uses Activity.
@CCadmin_Sorin Thanks for moving Latest Posts to the top. But now I have to retrain myself, because I keep going to the middle to click on it. First world problems. 
The College Life Forum is still buried under the left side tab, under College Admissions and Search. When you click, it’s the sixth topic down. Why? How do people find it? Posts have dropped off a lot in many of those buried forums.
@skieurope… Yes. It took me awhile to find it. But thanks for getting this done to sorrin… That was my big pet peeve.
My search bar for CC is so tiny. Is that on purpose?

So… what were all those wonderful updates we were promised with this relaunch?
I am seeing video ads which are incredibly distracting/annoying. I thought CC got rid of video ads for logged in users quite some time ago. I now see them on top of the Latest Post thread, under recent activity and I’m guessing other places as well.
It seems to me the site is taking one step forward and then two steps backwards.
