Visited a couple weeks ago. The Harvard info session and following tour was the worst school visit we’ve ever had. It stood in stark contrast to the BU visit we had later that afternoon, which was fantastic. You could leave that session not knowing anything about how to apply, what kind of applications they take, how they evaluate, etc. The info session centered on student life only. And the tour - didn’t get to see inside a single building, couldn’t walk on the grass, and they were mowing so we couldn’t hear our tour guide. The whole thing was a bust. Not only did it leave my kids with a bad impression of Harvard, it soured them on the city as a whole!
