So bit the bullet and let my computer upgrade. It very reassuring stated on screen that my files were all in same location. Well more than half my desktop icons were gone, but we did find where they are. However, my favorites from internet explorer did not come over. In researching it, the solution given seems to be importing them into edge. When we tried this it said there were no favorites to import. H managed to find an old file from 3 years ago that has some of my favorites, but the vast majority of things I really want I have done in the last year.
Any suggestions? At this point can I restore my computer to previous system and save them? This is really upsetting!
