LOST (the tv series) anyone?

I knew it I knew it I knew it.

SPOOILLEERRRRR

JIN IS ALIVE!

Woot! Haha, another enjoyable episode. I wonder what Sun will end up doing…

Also, Michael is definitely not coming back from the dead because he is now apparently “lost” in another show (spotted him during a commercial break for the show, forgot the name).

UH OH I had a nose bleed this morning… :)

Do we KNOW what the nosebleed thing is?

didn’t Daniel explain the nosebleed thing re: diff reactions to the time travel? weird that Jin is back considering that he was interviewed last year and talked about what he was doing next? i guess w lost, never say never is the mantra…like soaps that bring back “dead people”…

He said it was tied to how long you’ve been exposed to the island, right? So, we’re supposed to see it as a clue to how many times people have been there?

So is the nosebleed thing the brain hemorraghing because it can’t handle the time travel? I still don’t think I’ve understood how the “constant” fixes that. If you’re rooted to something that’s NOT traveling in time, your brain can handle it? Can anyone confirm/clarify? Thanks!

^^^I would not be so foolish as to try to “confirm/clarify” anything on Lost!

“He said it was tied to how long you’ve been exposed to the island, right? So, we’re supposed to see it as a clue to how many times people have been there?”

implying that Miles has been there before. S1 says the current rumor is that maybe Miles was a child of Dharma people, but I don’t know-- we met hiim as someone who could hear ghost whisperings or whatever, so someone probably sent him there for that reason. Wonder what he would make of Jacob?

I think Miles is the child of Pierre Chang (Dr. Marvin Candle). Remember the opening scene of the series opener a couple of weeks ago? They showed him waking up and his baby was crying and that Willie Nelson record was skipping? That was almost certainly Miles as a baby!

patsmom-- yes-- that’s what S said!
But what is the scientist’s name? Chang, Candle, Halliwax?? Once more I am confused.

All of the above are correct. He had different names in each of the orientation films.

Aha. Thanks

OMG!! I’ve “found” my people!! lol. My family is obssessed with Lost. The first year it was on, I only watched 3 episodes and said forget it…too much thinking for this one, lol. Then a few years ago, (winter) my dh went out and rented the first couple of dvd’s that were out. We proceeded to immediately become obssessed. Started watching on a Saturday night…stayed up until 4 am…got up on Sunday…started watching at noon…lol, we spent that whole week watching every episode until we were caught up, and ready to watch the full season last year. It is alot better to watch it without commercials. We really tried to tivo, and watch after it was done…but, who can wait!!!

I love this season so far!! I do feel like our marathon Lost viewing may have caused us to miss alot of the little clues, we should remember, lol. Anyway, its great to know we aren’t alone out here, lol.

Can’t wait till next Wed!

We also got hooked on LOST via DVD. Missed the first few shows when the series began, and decided it looked to complicated to try to catch up. And yes, it IS a pleasure to watch them without the commercial breaks!

So who watched Lost this week? Any thoughts? I knew that Charlotte had grown up on the island but I don’t understand why the repeated exposure to the flashing killed her (and not, Faraday or anyone else). It also is not very believeable that Sun would go back to the island without her child.

Ok, question…I watched this last episode…was it only me, or did anyone else see that the French characters all had similar features to our faithful “survivors” - example, one had a guitar in his backpack…anyone remember Charlie? Another was pregnant…hello, Claire? Still another long curly hair…Kate? There was even one that “mirrored” Sawyer in his mannerisms and demeanor.

Anyone???

That is interesting ^^^. I didn’t catch that.

OK. A pretty unfulfilling episode. Too many questions, too much Jack. Weird shoes bit.

 1. Whatever did Kate do with Aaron?
 2. Whatever did Sun do with her baby?
 3. Whatever happened to Ben?
 4. How did Hurley end up on the plane and out of jail?
 5. Whatever happened to Sayid and how did he end up on the plane?
 6. Didn’t you love the evil in Ben’s line, “Who cares?”
 7. Didn’t you love that Lapidus was piloting 316?
 8. WHY ARE THEY GOING BACK TO THE ISLAND?
 9. Don’t you hope that Penny and Charlie are OK? (I’m worried…)
 10. Lots more that I can’t think of right now.

No, I liked the episode! All those questions will be answered in the next few months. I am betting that either “dead” Charlie or another of Hurley’s imaginary friends told him to get on that plane. Yes, I have a hard time believing that Sun would leave her toddler!!! The woman arresting Sayid…she is familiar, anyone remember which episode was she in before? They are going back to the island because, with the exception of Sun, none of them had a life worth anything off the island. Wow, Lapidus looks so much younger without the beard!
