@CCadmin_Jon - I was using an iPhone 10 with Safari. And yes, the blue “How can we help” banner moved from the bottom of my screen to the middle while I was scrolling. More than once. When I stopped scrolling it moved back. Once my phone is charged I’ll see if I can get a screen shot of it if that will help.
That’s a great suggestion. As it turns out, Sorin and I were thinking the same thing about having a beta group. Unfortunately, we hadn’t put that in place in time for this feature.
As an added twist, Kai is specifically intended to help out new users and students. Perhaps if we had shown this to beta testers we would have made different choices in development.
My wife and I watched the first episode and it’s a heavy dose of nostalgia. Still, I didn’t make the connection between Cobra Kai and the Kai feature for whatever reason.
Flashbacks to the UI redesign a while back. The site is still harder to use than it used to be.
Please provide an option to make this go away. Even Apple, who often thinks they know what you want better than you do, requires you to actively ask Siri to interrupt your work rather then popping up with “can I help, can I help” constantly.
It would be so much better if you would make this an opt in rather than opt out so that if someone wants to use it , they can select it, but those who choose not to can avoid its intrusiveness.
You also many want to make sure it’s programmed correctly.
I asked: “how to find a post”
This was the response:
Kai
Eliminating the things that you don’t want to major in can be just as helpful as finding out what you do want!
But while switching is better than staying in a major that isn’t a good fit, changing your mind may mean extra money spent on classes, or a longer road to graduation. Doing some research and reflection early on can help you pick a major that suits you the first time.
What’s frustrating us is → we have been suggesting Betas each time one of these nutso change is released.
You divide CC users into some new and old and don’t realize, even among the experienced who dish out coaching, there are subtleties in approach, the advice given and how. There are NO simple or simplistic short answers, is no “one size fits all.”
This IS an interactive forum. Humans. Please understand what DOES make it work. And not. Skip the glitzy superficials.
And before I really vent, just look at how impossible these bots are for Microsoft, Amazon, banks, and others, much bigger institutions. They can’t answer questions. It’s gibberish.
Well I ask for it to tell me a joke and it did. But when I asked how to get into a certain university then engineering specifically it sent me to the Same site. It’s not utilizing the trigger word… Just going to make someone more frustrated…
When Kai popped up this morning, I was able to click on the “Skip Forever” button. Its now the blue banner I suppose many of you are getting, but at least it stays down below in corner on the screen! It’s almost forever gone.
