Are chancellors interview invites out yet? When do those come?

From Pitt’s website: “Interview notifications will be sent in early-March and interviews will take place throughout the month of March. Only those candidates invited to the on-campus interviews will be notified.”

My son OOS also received an email tonight for $10k/year. He was accepted back in October with College of Business Administration and guaranteed admission to the Katz graduate school of business.

My daughter received an email tonight with a merit award of $2k per year ($8k in total). In state, Dietrich (Biological Sciences). Was hoping for more than the minimal merit award, but I guess we shouldn’t complain. Hoping that some private scholarships pan out!

Still waiting on merit. Did y’all do fafsa yet? We are doing it this week. OOS. Business.
In state to Dietrich, $2,000 per year, $8,000 total. The letter did not include a breakdown of total cost. Anywone know where that can be viewed?

We completed FAFSA a few weeks ago.

Congrats! My daughter received the same merit award, in state Dietrich and Pre Health Science as well. She submitted TO so she wasn’t expecting any merit from Pitt so we were pleasantly surprised too, also hoping to secure some private scholarships to apply as well. Did your daughter submit scores?

I don’t know if this helps, and I can’t absolutely prove this, but in my circles the consensus is when Pitt said it was going to shift more aid money to need versus merit, this has ended up particularly true for in-state admits. So any merit in-state is still a nice honor, although I understand whether it is enough practically is a different matter.

Accepted Oct 18 in Political Science. Jan 14 received email Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences Scholarship academic award of $40,000 ($10,000/year). Submitted FAFSA over Xmas break. OOS submitted ACT.
