Definitely consider the New England flagships… honestly as a male he may have a bit of an edge even with the slightly lower stats. There are also many MANY private DE BSN programs around the Northeast and elsewhere, usually worth investigating as they often have lots of money to give away!
Endicott, Scared Heart, Husson, & Quinnipiac come to mind.
((Of course I’m partial to UMaine- my D22 is a junior BSN student…we love it!))
But there are LOTS out there once you start exploring! Best of luck!
Oh interesting I didn’t see much about early action on their site, we will check it out!
We’re all the way in California, so Maine is pretty much the farthest he could go haha. His dream school is UMichigan, and we have heard being male gives him a slight edge (I think there were under 10 males in last year’s incoming class), but we know that’s definitely a reach! He also loved UTKnoxville.
Going through a similar experience with WCU now for nursing. 3.9UW, 4.3W, 1230SAT, allied health program in HS, varsity athletics, applied in Oct and crickets since. Zero communication. Zero marketing.
