Netflix recommendations?

But in the meantime, you can often hunt them down on other sites, including free.

Chelsea handler
“Escape to the country side” (English version of house hunters and calming to watch)

I second Sense8 (you wouldn’t watch it with small children or conservative family members in the room)
and I have just started Paranoid. A netflix British police procedural with layers

One to watch with your new teen drivers, Canada’s worst drivers. They do try to help the drivers by giving them lessons and analyzing why certain behaviors they drivers do are dangerous.

My favorite TV shows are Mad Men and Breaking Bad. And you can practically incorporate and enjoy any Netflix.

Older British TV Shows: Green Wing and The IT Crowd
Current British TV Shows: Lovesick, Detectorists, and Chewing Gum

Also, Schitt’s Creek (with Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara) and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

United States of Tara, Wentworth, West Wing, Parenthood, Friday Night Lights, Gilmore Girls

The second season of The Last Kingdom has just started!

Sense 8 and the last kingdom just started their second seasons and both are very good.

I started Sense8 last night, and couldn’t understand the first episode at all. Then Episode 2 started making sense. Now that y’all have recommended it, I’ll stick with it. Yikes with the sex scenes, though!

I can recommend Rake. It’s an Australian show about Cleaver Greene, a brilliant but self-destructive lawyer. Interesting stories, excellent acting, and for fans of other Australian series, e.g., Offspring and Please Like Me, a chance to see some of your favorite Australian actors in other roles.

I just watched Tower, a documentary on Netflix about the University of TX shooting rampage of Charles Whitman.

Really excellent, and done in an unusual way.

Today I started watching Sense8. Great series, I recommend

For fans of Bloodline, the final season will be available on May 26th!!

And the new season of House of Cards on 5/30!

I wish they’d release this stuff in the winter when the weather is crappy.

Series:
Chef’s Table
Abstract: The Art of Design
Grand Designs
Chelsea
Grace and Frankie
The Crown

One off documentaries:
Meet the Patels
Jiro Dreams of Sushi
A Year in Champagne
A Year in Burgundy
Somm

Meet the Patels is so good. Funny.

@raclut; I checked out Ask laftan anlamaz, the Turkish comedy/drama…and am hooked- have been bingewatching it exclusively and my H is lucky if there is any dinner. I can speak a little Turkish but definitely needed the subtitles but an added bonus has been that my Turkish is getting a new lease on life. Anyway love the show, cast and humor…thanks for the recommendation…I would never have found it otherwise.

We just finished Season 2 of The Last Kingdom and enjoyed it.

@justforthis I am ready to watch it a second time. I wish there was a 2nd season.
