It is dark and unrealistic but still great.
^I might give it another shot if this rain doesn’t end soon…feels like its been raining for a month here in MA
Watching The Killing with my D since she’s home for the summer. We both enjoy it.
The Killing is great. I could not get into Breaking Bad, although S recommended it highly. I’ll probably try it again. I also could not get into The Sopranos. I hated Twin Peaks, The Office, and Seinfeld.
There must be something wrong with me, LOL.
Breaking Bad- extremely well made
House of Cards
Walking Dead
Stranger things wasn’t my favorite, but still very entertaining
I’ve heard lots of people like Mad Men, but after a few episodes I couldn’t keep going with it
Has anyone watched “The Keepers?” It’s a seven episode documentary about the murder of a young nun in 1969. She had taught at a Catholic school that had a sex abuse scandal. Very creepy story.

“House of Cards” new season starts on Tuesday. I can’t wait. It would have been great to watch this rainy weekend.
Don’t watch the last episode during dinner. My D watched them all and felt that Hannah was blaming others too much and it got a bit improbable. Ending was sooo cliche. I did find it gripping overall.
Currently watching Hotel Beau Sejour, but it’s in Dutch. Looking forward to checking out more of the recommendations, which I have added to my netflix list.
Bloodline, Marcella, Blacklist
I enjoyed Lie to me, Lost and Raising Hope (so funny). And Doc Martin.
Just started bloodline - 3 episodes in- looks great so far.
@Iglooo - in Netflix app (you need to be on the device you want to download to), there is a download symbol that lookslike an arrow going down in a rectangle next to the episode. That’s how it works on my kindle fire.
On season 3 of Bloodline. Gripping.
Here is a Buzzfeed game. Based on your Starbucks order it will tell you what you should watch next.
At the end of it is a list of new releases on Netflik’s for June.
My Ds school sent out an email about 13 reasons why. Basically asking parents to think twice about famiy watching and to consider watching with your kids if they are going to watch. The feeling was that it glorified the suicide as revenge trope and that it did not conform to guidelines set forth by the association of school psychologists in regards to suicide portrayal. Sorry for the highjack
@psychmomma Yes! Season 3 is definitely gripping. I’ve watched the first three episodes and am intrigued to see how they are going to wrap up this season and series.
@alwaysamom - I am trying so hard to pace myself. We finished episode 4. I want to binge watch the rest but then what will I watch? Lol. Hmm, maybe the new season of House of Cards. When does that come out?
@psychmomma Tomorrow!
I just watched the first 2 episodes of season 1, Master of None. I’m liking it so much (already) I’ve called my best friend and told her to start watching so we can talk about it.
Just binge watched first season of Anne with an E. It is based on Anne of Green Gables. It is a much darker version than the 1980s series, with flashbacks to Anne’s traumatic experiences before she arrived at the Cuthberts. I believe the writer wrote several Breaking Bad episodes. I enjoyed it and hope there will be more!
I finished Season 3 of Kimmy Schmidt yesterday and it is the funniest one yet.
