@JenJenJenJen will be happy to hear that!
Thanks @Ynotgo and @2VU0609 - always nice to see another comedy lover on this thread full of drama fans!
I tried to watch Bloodline a year or so ago, because Kyle Chandler, but it was just too irritating and confusing. So I decided to try it again, because Kyle Chandler :D, and this time it is going better. Rather than restarting from the beginning, I read recaps of the episodes I’d seen, and went on from there.
Finished the final season of Bloodline last night… I am going to miss it. The anxiety is gave me is like the one I get when on a roller coaster. Anxiety not caused by my personal life is easier for me.
Starting watching 13 Reasons Why yesterday with D21. I have already seen it. WE are pausing it often as I explain things to her. A lot goes over her head.
Just finished House of Cards!
I just binged through The Keepers. It was quite riveting.
An episode of Kimmy Schmidt should be a nice palate cleanser before I return to Bloodline.
Debating whether to watch house of cards- the last season made me anxious - is this season the same?
^ So far, this season of House of Cards doesn’t make me as anxious as reality makes me.
@rockymtnhigh I found this season not nearly as intense as last season. It does ramp up in the last three episodes, IMO.
I’m rewatching The West Wing, one of my all time favorite series.
On pg 1 of this thread someone recommended Velvet – have only watched the first 4 episodes and it’s in Spanish but I’m really liking it. Have enjoyed House of Cards and The Crown.
Starting 5th season of House of Cards in 30 mins.
I think I didn’t finish season 4
so have gone back.
@bjkmom…Since you’re rewatching The West Wing you might want to check out the West Wing Weekly podcast. Each episode of the podcast discusses one episode of the show. One of the two hosts is Joshua Malina who played Will Bailey in the later seasons. They have many cast members and others involved in the show as guests. It’s really fun to get the “inside baseball” look at the show. I really enjoyed rewatching then listening to the podcast…although the podcast is only up to the middle of season 3 now.
I hope House of Cards gets better. I’ve watched the first 2 episodes of the new season and it’s not grabbing me one bit.
@conmama, I am with you. I gave up 1/2 in the second episode. Didn’t have the mental capacity or patience to make it last night.
Another vote for The West Wing Weekly podcast. The “guests” really make it a must listen. The last episode had a very lengthy interview with Allison Janney. TWW is one of my favorite shows ever and although it is aging in a world of smartphones and other new tech, I still love to rewatch. I watched the whole thing last summer - fall, finishing in early October. It was my 3rd or 4th time from start to finish and I still like to pull up certain episodes from time to time, particularly the Thanksgiving episodes. Josh & Hrishi poke some holes in some of my favorite episodes on the podcast, but nothing I can’t handle:)
Who needs the new season of House of Cards when reality is so crazy and compelling.
^^^^ Five epsidoes into House of Cards. Watched episodes 4 and 5 without H. I’m waiting for him to catch up and then will continue. I think it’s great, but I’m a political junkie. I keep CNN and MSNBC instead of background music.
Just finished episode 5 of HOC. I think the reason it seems less intense than earlier seasons is
