<p>You are from Ohio right? I’m pretty sure that is Midwest considering she called from Illinois. She said there were 1000 Midwest semifinalists, and 12 are finalists, and 6 will be winners. </p>

<p>the hawaii/ca stats are a little less impressive 855applicants, 400 semifinalists(i think) 14finalists,9 winners Though no offense to those who made ca/hi finalists.</p>

<p>Does this mean that they haven’t notified all of the regions or they haven’t notified all of the finalists within a region?? Wish we had a better idea of how it all works.</p>
