100% yes in my book
Wait so u think they might already have a decision even before the buttons disappear
woahhh congrats to everyone who just got in! and I hope that the rest of us who are waiting will hear some good news soon
Can someone please explain to me what this wave was?? Come on NYU!. At least be consistent with something. Also, I have called so many times since I sent my application and they have never narrowed down anything for me. And congratulations to all those who got in!
Ahhh congratulations! Omg this is exciting. Did your checklist/buttons in your portal disappear beforehand, and if you noticed that it did, how far back did they disappear before you received your acceptance to Stern? Are you an internal or external transfer?
Why would they release decisions at like 2am that’s so scary and causes stress for the rest of us. I hope there’s wave today
I don’t think so. Since they release decisions almost everyday, i think they will inform you once your decision has been made.
@ the people who have already gotten and the people who feel that they have low chances of getting any aid at all:
whats the plan for you guys? if you get in, but get little aid, what’s the game plan from there??? NYU is such a dream of mine, but it costs soooo much. 2 weeks isn’t enough to somehow gather 80k for tuition.
True. Big decision with little time.
congrats to everyone that’s got in!!! still waiting on mine, no buttons have disappeared and no sign of it coming any time soon): still hoping but those hopes are low lmao
i haven’t gotten in yet, but ik for sure im not getting any aid. i think i will have to take out loans if i were to go.
Are there specific AOs for transfer students and if yes, how can we get their contact information
Yeah, I would love to know if there’s a specific AO number I should be speaking with. I’m yet to call anyone in regard to my application/decision and I think it’s about time I do it. Before I thought I would be inconveniencing them by calling, but now I’m worried not calling shows I’m not interested.
I don’t think calling makes a difference at all tbh. If it will make you feel better then call but I highly doubt it influences the decision one way or another.
I just looked at the Deferred/Waitlist forum. Someone had said they called about Tisch Applicants. A wave of us transfers will be expected to hear back by next week or the following because deferred/waitlisted students decisions depend on ours. So deferred/waitlisted will be hearing after that. I guess that confirms a wave though for sure next week.
does anyone know what the admission’s email address is, or individual admission conselor’s email address? (like USC they assign every applicant an admission counselor to ask questions etc. ) thx!
Just another day of not having my results, haha nyu <3
I think we are in different grades, like they are freshmen and we will be sophomore/ junior, why would our decisions influence theirs?
Same but i think they meant if so many people rejected their offers then this will give other people who still haven’t got a decision more spaces to get accepted
Alright can we do some roll call and just answer the same format I did
Transfer: Junior
Major: Biochemistry
Application List: Still there
