Wow thank you so much for the encouraging words. This was incredibly sweet of you to remind us all of this and it truly puts a smile on my face realizing just how active this thread is and just how supportive and compassionate a lot of us in this thread are towards one another. It honestly warms my heart to know that we’re truly rooting for each other despite the circumstances and if that doesn’t represent the values of NYU and literally New York City and its community, then I don’t know what does. We’re in this together and I love that we share this common sentiment here. I wish NYU would see this quality in all of us too and admit us based on all of our dedication, passion, and sense of unity. I’m glad to have found this thread and to have experienced applying to NYU with you guys. None of us are alone and I truly hope we all get the best of what is meant for us, even if it doesn’t include NYU. “Rejection is just redirection” is what I’ve heard and I honestly find that to be really powerful and meaningful, not only in the context of the college search process, but also in general with whichever aspect of life it may be. But with that being said, NYU would be lucky to have all of us as their students. I can already tell, and I believe, that we would make NYU and the surrounding communities/the world a better place. 
just remember though, don’t let any one thing in life define you. There is way more to us than what we get blinded by sometimes. Sometimes certain things, people, and places are better for us. I wish the best for all of you.

Omg this is so cute im so glad we are in this together it warms my heart tooo like it makes me so happy to be sharing this with u guys im so glad nyu made us come together. Even if not acceptance at least they gave me the chance to talk to u guys and know that they are so many good people out there that we still haven’t met and this just made my view of life wayy better thank u guys. And no its not i wouldn’t mind reading a whole book of u guys talking about this, it really makes me feel better

Same here, but when I called them, I was told that if I wasn’t notified by Tuesday (25th) that I should call back and they would figure something out.
Back to the daily struggle of wanting to call the AO hoping I’ll get a different answer, but not calling the AO because I know I’ll get the same answer.

When I called the admissions office on Monday to check the status of my application they said I’ll either hear next week or the week after, but I’m hoping for next week so I’ve been checking to see if any of my buttons have gone away yet, but they are still there. Why can’t my buttons just disappear already?!?

Guys I just called nyu rn, and they said “oh u can expect it either this month or june, but we can provide you any farther information” like wth😂at this point they should i have given up like they say that to everyone and they cant even tell us what week to expect our decisions lmao.
