Ok I have an update for you… From what I have been told, application updates could take sometime from now until another 3 WEEKS! Yes, I know that sounds very stressful for a lot of us. I have been told we will either hear back on the week of the 24th, 31st (Wont be the 31st because its a holiday), and the week of June 7th. For NYU, the school releases acceptances/rejections ONCE A WEEK meaning only one day within the weeks given will prospective students receive an update

OOOFFF that stinks but thanks for the update. I am certain if D hasn’t had a decision by June 7 it’ll be a rejection.
The number I have called was (212) 998-4500 . This is NYU’s admission number where I have received this information
Or you will be waitlisted. Thats what happened to me last year. On June 5th, I was waitlisted but after that they never got back to my application.
Did they say anything on why it would take so long?

You could, but the person you will be speaking to will be able to do nothing in regards to speeding up your application. The only thing I can say is commit to a school as a safety and if NYU accepts, and you’d rather NYU than the other school, then commit to NYU. I know it sucks, but honestly its out of our hands
